Microsoft Announce Xbox Game Pass Price Increase

 

Microsoft has revealed the price of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate increased on July 6, 2023. The base price of Xbox Game Pass for Console went up from $9.99 to $10.99 per month, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate went from $14.99 to $16.99 per month. The price of PC Game Pass remained unchanged at $10 per month.

Microsoft said that the price increase was necessary to "continue to invest in the best possible gaming experience for our members." The company also said that it would be offering a number of new benefits to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, including early access to game trials and new games.

Existing Xbox Game Pass subscribers will not see the price increase until August 13, 2023. If you are currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you can still take advantage of the current price by renewing your subscription before August 13, 2023.

Even with the price increase, Xbox Game Pass is still the best value in gaming. After taxes, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be just under $20 per month.
