Peacock Reveals New "Ted" Series

The beloved talking teddy bear Ted is back in a new prequel series coming to Peacock on January 11, 2024. The series, titled Ted, will take us back to 1993, when Ted was just a young bear living with his best friend, John Bennett.

The series will star Seth MacFarlane as the voice of Ted, Max Burkholder as John, and Giorgia Whigham as John's cousin Blaire. Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach will also star as John's parents, Matty and Susan.

The series will explore Ted's early years as a foul-mouthed, but lovable, bear. We'll see him go through all the ups and downs of adolescence, from first crushes to awkward family dinners.

MacFarlane has said that the series will be "a little darker" than the movies, but it will still be funny and heartwarming. He has also said that the series will explore some of the themes that were introduced in the movies, such as friendship and acceptance.

If you're a fan of the Ted movies, then you'll definitely want to check out the new prequel series. It's sure to be a lot of fun, and it will give us a chance to see Ted in a whole new light.
