NFT Marketplace Fires Half Of Their Staff
NFT marketplace OpenSea has reportedly laid off 50% of its workforce. The New York-based company job cut is an estimated 115 employees.
The layoffs come at a time when the company actually plans to launch OpenSea 2.0. According to CEO David Finzer, the company will still launch OpenSea 2.0 with a smaller team.
Finzer also refers to the job cuts as "significant organizational and operating changes".
