Microsoft Is Accusing Sony Of Paying For "Blocking Rights"


 

The console war between Xbox and PlayStation just got more intense. Microsoft is accusing sony of paying third-party developers to keep their games off the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. 

"Microsoft’s ability to continue expanding Game Pass has been hampered by Sony’s desire to inhibit such growth, Sony pays for 'blocking rights' to prevent developers from adding content to Game Pass and other competing subscription services." - Microsoft Offical statement

Xbox has acquired several gaming studios like Bethesda, Activision Blizzard, and more. The gaming industry fears Microsoft is on its way to creating a monopoly on the gaming industry as we know it.
