Amazon Is Working On A Cloud Gaming Service
According to the New York Times, Amazon is working on its own cloud gaming service.
The online retail giant has been investing millions into a cloud gaming service codenamed Project Tempo. Amazon already owns one of the biggest gaming streaming platforms with Twitch.
The cloud gaming industry already has some big players in the space. Microsoft has Project xCloud in beta and Google has Stadia. Amazon Project Tempo will be a direct competitor
I can imagine Amazon being bundling their gaming service with Amazon Prime likely making Prime the best value of any online service.
It has been rumored that Project Tempo can be available to gamers as soon as the year 2021.
